Privacy Policy
1. Your uploaded drawings are private to your account - other customers cannot see them - but our own staff accounts can see every document on the server, because that is how we support and debug it.
2. One optional feature, the Analyze button, sends a picture of the sheet you are looking at to an outside AI company. Nothing else you upload ever leaves our server. If you do not press Analyze, that never happens.
1. What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | It is your username. |
| Your password, stored only as a salted PBKDF2 hash | To sign you in. We cannot read your password. |
| Drawings (PDFs) you upload | To measure them. They stay on our server. |
| What we derive from them - traced lines, quantities, page images, labels, prices you enter, approved exports and reports | To show you results and to avoid re-processing the same sheet. |
| Feedback you send, and the optional screenshot attached to it | To fix what you reported. It includes the sheet name, page, line style and app version so we can reproduce the problem. |
| Your browser's user-agent string, your IP address in server logs, and timestamps | Ordinary web-server operation, security and debugging. |
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party fonts or scripts. The site loads nothing from anyone else. The only cookie we set is a session cookie that keeps you signed in; it is essential, and there is nothing to opt into.
2. Who can see your documents
Each account sees only its own uploads, plus a small shared set of sample plans that belong to us. Other customers cannot see your drawings, and the server returns “not found” if one tries.
Our staff accounts can see and delete every document on the server. We do this to support the product, investigate faults, and clean up after demonstrations. If that is not acceptable for a particular set of drawings, do not upload them.
3. The one feature that sends data outside
If you press Analyze, we render an image of the sheet you are viewing and send it to an AI provider - currently xAI or Groq - which returns a written description. That means an image of that drawing leaves our server and is processed on their systems under their terms and retention rules, which we do not control.
This happens only when you press that button, only for the sheet you are looking at, and never automatically.
4. Who else is involved
- Hostinger - the server the application runs on.
- Let's Encrypt - issues the certificate that encrypts your connection.
- GitHub - stores our source code and deploys updates. It does not receive your drawings.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
5. How long we keep it
Uploaded drawings and their results stay on the server until they are deleted. You can remove a document yourself with Remove from server, which deletes the PDF and everything derived from it. Ask us and we will delete your account and everything under it.
Because this is beta software, we may also delete data as part of maintenance. Keep your own copies of your drawings.
6. Security, and its limits
- Connections are encrypted with TLS.
- Passwords are stored only as salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hashes.
- Sessions use a signed, HttpOnly cookie.
- Documents are separated per account and enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
Being straight with you: this is a small beta product on a single server, not a hardened enterprise platform. We think the measures above are reasonable, and no service can promise perfect security.
7. Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email us and we will action it.
8. Changes
If we change how we handle your data in a way that matters, we will say so in the application rather than quietly editing this page.
